Ugh, this book.... whew.
I'm almost halfway done. I don't wanna say the word count because it's insane LMAO. But I'm almost done with part 1. One book, two parts. Walk with me.
Wyn is my favorite BY FAR. And that's saying something. Her and Auty man... two sides of the same coin. Strong as hell, and misunderstood. But someone who is proving to me their worth is Pooh Bear.
We only see him through the eyes of others. Everyone but his actual son. We know Rico hates him, we know Rico knocked him out at Rico's mom's funeral. We know he's a pimp.
But as you know, I love layered characters. And I love peeling back those layers through different perspectives. Pooh Bear, aka Winslow Alvarez, is the epitome of a flawed, layered man. At his core, he loves women, loves his family, and just wants his sons to be better than he is. He's a lil' part I've been working on, that shows him through the eyes of Wyn.
